What will you be doing?
As an intern, you will work in a dedicated team focused on the Corporate Finance business within the real estate sector. In this team, you will assist with equity raising for real estate funds, trading real estate stocks on the secondary market, and (re)structuring funds and joint ventures. The team guides clients in developing new investment strategies, preparing marketing materials, approaching investors, and closing transactions. CBRE Capital Advisors in Amsterdam is part of a global team with which you will collaborate on a daily basis.
During a period of approximately six months, you will actively be part of the team and perform various tasks to support the consultants. As a team member, you will learn quickly and gain insight into how complex (international) transactions come to fruition. You will have the opportunity to gain Corporate Finance transaction experience within the real estate sector and simultaneously support ongoing deals in various phases (such as pitches, preparation, marketing, and closing).
During your internship at Capital Advisors, your daily tasks will include:
– Preparing marketing documents.
– Creating DCF models and financial analyses.
– Conducting market and competition analyses.
– Participating in calls with clients and (potential) investors.
– Assisting in winning new mandates.
Throughout the internship, you will receive intensive guidance from specialists with extensive experience in the Corporate Finance business within the real estate sector. Additionally, we offer you the opportunity to work on a graduation assignment.

The Capital Advisors team is part of the Capital Markets department. It is a close-knit team of experienced and motivated consultants with a passion for the profession. They are involved in the commercial guidance and advice of buying and selling processes of commercial real estate, as well as the coordination of due diligence processes. They also advise our clients on real estate financing.
