Mathijs Pott

My name is Mathijs Pott and this year I will hold the position of Chairman within the RECG. I grew up around Nijmegen and then moved to Groningen. In recent years I have been able to successfully follow and complete the bachelor Business Administration Technology Management. I have the ambition to work within the real estate world and am interested in project development. This led to the master in Real Estate Studies.

Peter-Jan Reinders has presided over the chair and has handed over the baton to me. After previous boards and committees, I wanted to expand my knowledge within the real estate world. The RECG is the ideal place for this, because of the contact with the professionals and the orientation towards career development. This aroused my enthusiasm and after the summer I immediately registered my interest for the board position. This year is all about the transition from the corona era and that brings great challenges. However, I have the privilege to form the 6th board with an ambitious group!
